Winter AscentThe club runs a couple of mailing lists which you may be interested in joining:
Announcements List
The main mailing list is where the committee send all announcements about trips, socials, and keep you informed about important news and events. If you are a member you need to read all these emails, or you can join just to keep an eye on what the club is up to. There are about two emails per week.
To join this mailing list, send an email message:
- To: majordomo@lists.ed.ac.uk
- Subject: anything
- Message Body: subscribe hillwalkers
You will receive a message welcoming you to the list.
Vac List
This list is for club members and ex-members to announce unofficial trips and social events, mainly during the holidays and also when there is no club trip planned. Followup discussions should happen on the forums. This is an open list, which means all subscribers can send messages to it. Usually there are one or two emails every week.
To join this mailing list, send an email message:
