Day trips will normally leave from the bottom drive below
the Pleasance gym at 7:

will need to bring all your equipment for a day's walking, see here for a

Walk organisers will have plans for the day which they will revise in light of the morning's weather forecast, and you will sign up for a walk usually before leaving Edinburgh. The drive is usually about 2 hours each way. If we are coming home late we will stop so that you can buy something to eat
Due to the travel time involved you should arrive on at the Pleasnace on time and be ready to walk as soon as you arrive at the desitination. Wasted time may mean that some walks become unfeasible or end in the dark!
The cost of daytrips (£15) covers the cost of minibus or coach travel and there is a £10 discount for drivers.
